Dan In Real Life

Geez, I need to find more time to post, because I saw Dan in Real Life last Thursday.

Anyway, it didn’t come out very long ago… last year, I think? You’ve probably seen the ads for it. It’s about this guy called Dan who falls in love with his brother’s girlfriend, and she is staying with them on a family holiday. Awkward situation. Anyway, I don’t want to ruin it for you, but everything turns out OK in the end.

Man, I don’t even have time to write a long post because I have to go to bed soon. At 8:00 ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. Friday. Parents, I ask you.

Anyway, I’m giving it 3.5/5, because it was supposed to be a comedy, but it wasn’t very funny, just a bit “deep,” as Steve Carell put it. He plays Dan, by the way.

Watch it, blah blah blah. Oh, and a very important word to all those not yet in high school:

BEWARE GEOMETRY AND ALGEBRA.

When Harry Met Sally

Good day, my young cows… that is, if I have any. Does anybody read this excellent blog? The answer is nuh-uh! Apart from the growed-ups.

I saw When Harry Met Sally this arvo. It’s very purdy and sweet. There’s this one part where Harry yells at his and Sally’s friends, and he goes outside and Sally follows him, and they hug and it’s a cute hug. Probably my favourite part. :)

You know, for some reason, Meg Ryan (Sally) really reminds me of Alicia Silverstone from Clueless. I think it’s something about the shape of her face.

I think it really shows what it is to be in love. I also like the bits with old people on the couch, talking about what it is to be married.

4/5. It’s, like, one of my mum’s favourite movies.

Wish I could do a longer post, but I’m having Thai for dinner, then I’m watching The Breakfast Club, so that’ll be on here later as well. Must go!

Mooxoxoooo.
